2. What we collect

When you use Which Distributor, we may collect and process:

• your name;
• your artist or project name;
• your email address;
• your quiz answers (your responses about your music, situation and preferences); and
• a reference code generated to identify your report.

3. How and where it is stored

The information above is stored in our database, which is hosted using Supabase acting as a processor on our behalf. We use operational email processing to send you and our team transactional messages relating to your submission and report.

4. Payments

Payments for the full report are processed by Stripe as an independent payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment status but do not store your full card details.

5. How we use your data

We use your data to generate and deliver your report, to operate and support the Service, to process your purchase, and to respond to your enquiries. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract with you and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.

6. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use advertising tracking or behavioural ad profiling.
• Which Distributor is not currently connected to the main Royalty Rising account or song object, and we do not currently share your data with it.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy — to provide your report and access, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and to handle any queries or disputes — and no longer than is proportionate for those purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Complaints

If you raise a data-protection complaint with us, we will acknowledge it within 30 days, investigate it without undue delay, keep you informed during the process, and communicate the outcome to you. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would welcome the chance to resolve your concerns first.
